WELCOME TO THE RATTIE REPORT

This is a blog dedicated to all things Rattie, particularly the adventures of my very first rat, Mindi.

There are also going to be Rat websites, forums and chat rooms listed here and other rat pictures for your enjoyment.

The rat pictures are cute or interesting pics I find on Google. There is no copyright infringment intended I just like the pics and want to share them with everyone.

Well that's it from me.

The only thing left to say is explore and have fun!

Welcome Anya!

Finally Mindi has a little friend! Everyone meet Anya!

Anya the cutie rat

Anya is 6wks old. She's really lively but loves cuddles already.
She gets on well with Mindi. They play together and sleep together. In fact Mindi is quite protective of her when they snuggle up and watches her when they are out of the cage.

In other news I discovered you never leave a plastic bag on top of the cage...

Lucky for me and the girls there was no harm done!

The fun has arrived!

Today is a big day for Mindi because two friends have come to stay!

Yes I'm Ratsitting Bev, Jasmine and Olivia's girls!

What an exciting few hours at first!

After the rattie greeting and three way wrestling match they got down to food and a tiny nap before resuming their game.

Mindi had to have a cuddle with Mum to settle her nerves after all the excitement.

Emily discovered hammocks suit her nicely this evening and had a lovely snooze by herself in one.

It was very hot so there was much appreciation of the frozen mash bannana that followed for dessert after a dinner of celery, rat mix and a peanut each.

All in brawl!

Week 3

Well we are now into our third week together.

Mindi has grown rapidly, we went to the vet's today and they commented on how big she was.
She is so much fun and I can't wait to see her all grown up.

All is well I'm pleased to report.

I did get some mite/lice spray and also medicine for round worm but I'm not sure if they are really effective as treatments.

Any comments with advice are most welcome.

Sadly no pics this week as I am swamped with end of Tafe activities and also Hanukkah celebrations with my church.

Would REALLY love comments guys!
